Who we are.

The mission of Spreading Mindfulness is to teach children, educators, and communities to meditate in order to become more confident, self-sufficient, and kind individuals. Our goal is to provide the tools and knowledge that enable students and communities to grow, thrive, and spread kindness.

 

Founded in 2017, Spreading Mindfulness is a non-profit organization centered on a mission to teach meditation to students, educators, and supporting communities as a way to spread kindness. To achieve this goal, we provide the tools, training, and resources for schools and communities, encouraging daily meditation practice.

About our team.

Spreading Mindfulness is currently operating with a five-member elected Board of Directors, with plans to staff full-time and part-time employees and meditation teachers in the near future, so they may operate efficiently and effectively.

Additionally, we provide tools for educators and community leaders that offer supplemental support to both teaching and learning the practice of meditation.
